From the stories I've told people around me, a lot have said that I'm a thinker. I couldn't agree more with them. Most of the time, my mind's on overdrive and the amount of thoughts runining could get overwhelming! If you add medical school's stress to that, I end up with an overworked brain. It's true that I spend a lot of time thinking, but am I thinking of the right things?
To my regret, I say that I'm not. More often than not, negativity dominate my thoughts. With that, I end up exhausted and miserable.
Then there are moments of enlightenment - moments like this when I realize God's faithfulness in my life. I am now sitting on a nice chair, sipping my coffee, listening to my favorite beats and reminiscing. The privilege of enjoying a relaxing moment such as this is a blessing in itself. Look closely and in the right place, then you'll see that life's wonderful. When you see it, you'll be grateful, just like I am now.
Philippians 4:8. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.
